It aims to be a shared, data‑driven environment where CIVIS students, academics, researchers and admnistrative staff will collaborate, access services, resources and navigate the operational aspects of their CIVIS journey. Designed to address the fragmentation of digital systems across our universities, the Agora seeks to bring together in one place the tools and information needed to make cross‑university collaboration smoother, clearer and more connected. ### What you will find in the CIVIS Agora Built on a shared open‑source CRM‑based framework, the Agora will progressively offer: - unified listings of courses, trainings, research groups and micro‑programmes - information on infrastructures, supervision and internship opportunities - collaborative matchmaking tools - a centralised support and ticketing system - data‑driven guidance along each user’s academic or mobility pathway As the platform evolves, it will become the operational backbone of the CIVIS Digital Campus — the space where practical processes converge and where *civizens* can manage their activities across the Alliance with increasing ease. ![](https://civis.eu/build/assets/circle-12-DCoFnra7.svg) ![](https://civis.eu/build/assets/circle-06-H_YyMKlQ.svg) ![](https://civis.eu/build/assets/circle-02-Dh7f4uYd.svg) Discover CIVIS Agora ---------------------- Discover the CIVIS Agora and dig deeper into our databases and courses. [EXPLORE](https://civis.widening.eu/) Powered by aUPaEU ------------------ The development of the CIVIS Agora is supported by [**aUPaEU – A University Partnership for Acceleration of European Universities**,](https://aupaeu.widening.eu/about-us) funded under the Horizon Europe programme (Grant Agreement No. 101095314). Inspired by the ancient concept of the *agora* as a shared civic space, aUPaEU aims to deliver digital acceleration services that support long‑term transformation in Higher Education Institutions. Its work focuses on six key areas: - infrastructure, capacity and resource sharing - researcher career attractiveness - collaboration with research and innovation ecosystems - open science - societal outreach - gender equality Running from January 2023 to December 2027, aUPaEU provides the foundations and shared services that make the CIVIS Agora possible. A Renewed CIVIS Website to Better Share our Story -------------------------------------------------- Alongside the Agora, CIVIS is also refreshing its public website. The new civis.eu will continue to serve as the Alliance’s main communication and dissemination space, offering: - a clearer structure for key information - multilingual access in all eight CIVIS languages - a dynamic CIVIS Newsroom bringing together stories, features, events and opportunities While the website remains the public face, the narrative door into our Alliance, the Agora becomes the operational engine — together forming a two‑platform system designed for both visibility and hands-on excellence. ### Building the Digital Campus Together The launch of the CIVIS Agora marks a major step in building an integrated, user‑centred Digital Campus.
