PolyCIVIS is delighted to announce the 2025 Conference, set to take place in Dakar, in Senegal, hosted by Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar. This important 4-day event, between the 23rd- 25th April, will convene leaders from the higher education, policy and research sectors to explore and address the challenges and opportunities presented by the polycrisis.

The conference will delve into the impact of polycrisis and its ongoing implications on policy, higher education and research. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from esteemed speakers, engage in dynamic panel discussions, and participate in thought-provoking conversations. 

The event is designed to foster collaboration and highlight innovative solutions poised to better understand the  impacts of simultaneous major societal crises that challenge the world in the form of a polycrisis.

The Panel will be moderated by: Dr. Mamadou Bodian, Coordinator for Fulbright Fellows in West Africa at the West Africa Research Center (WARC) and a researcher at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar.
