Requirements

This CIVIS workshop is open to Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD students at the following CIVIS member universities: 

  • University of Tübingen (Germany)
  • Sapienza Università di Roma (Italy)
  • Université libre de Bruxelles (Belgium)
  • Aix-Marseille Université (France)

Applicants should have substantial research interests in the field of environmental law and policy, environmental litigation, climate litigation, climate change law.

Application process

The application deadline is 8 April 2022. Selected students will be notified on 30 April 2022.

Every application should be in English and include the following:

  • Letter of motivation (one-page max.)
  • Curriculum Vitae including a Transcript of Records
  • Certification of affiliation to a participating university

Each application will be judged on the excellence of the candidate and the adequacy of their research interests with the topic of the workshop. The scholarships will be allocated on the basis of the intrinsic qualities of the applications and an equitable representation of each participating university, having regard also to diversity in participation.

Assessment

There will be no assessment. As this is an explorative workshop, the activity has no ECTS credits.
