SMARTT Councils

Education Advisory Council (EAC) is composed of two bodies which will define and bring their expertise when designing the tools for testing the criteria, analysing the results and providing guidelines and recommendations related to the proposed label.

  • The CIVIS Educational Committee (CEC) has one academic authority for the education of each member university, or the person delegated by the authorities of the university and a high-ranking administrator in education from each member university. The EAC defines the framework for programmes and degrees and gives recommendations. The Education Council usually meets online. Additional meetings can be organised as needed whenever particular points on the WP2 and WP3 require their participation.
  • The Global Educational Committee (GEC) is composed of one member of each associated partners of HEIs outside the CIVIS alliance and will bring their expertise in specific criteria linked to their specific interests. One expert from each institution will take part in this committee. They will meet as needed after analysing the results obtained in WP2 and WP3 for the elaboration of the recommended guidelines to the Commission
