This Blended Intensive Programme is composed of 4 online lessons that will be running during the month of May and a 5-day summer school at Aix-Marseille Université, in Aix-en-Provence, France, from 3 to 7 July 2023.
Physical mobility
The physical mobility part will be running for 5 days, it will take place from 3 to 7 July 2023. More information about the dates will be coming soon.
It will be a one week of laboratory sessions that will serve the students to deepen their knowledge of the subject, interact with each other, work in groups, and produce and improve the final paper on which they will be evaluated. This part of the project will take place in Aix-en-Provence, France.
Virtual part
The virtual part will be running in from 2 to 31 May 2023.
Each lesson will be structured as follows:
- A theoretical introduction, presentation of models and conceptual grids useful in addressing the theme of the lesson;
- In-depth presentation of a first case study (related to one of the three cultural areas the project focuses on-France, Italy, Spain);
- In-depth presentation of a second case study (related to a different area than the previous example);
- Q&A with students.
Students will be provided well in advance with all the lecture materials they need to work on to better understand the week's lesson. They will be asked to read and prepare some questions to animate the dialogue and discussion part between trainers and students.
The work between lessons is important because it allows students to improve their study autonomy, assimilation of knowledge and actively contribute (through the preparation of questions) to the development of the lesson.
