Practise languages through our **Language Cafés** and **Tandem Buddy Programme**, explore **Massive Open Online Courses** (**MOOCs)** to build new skills at your own pace, and experience international collaboration with **Collaborative Online International Learning projects (COILs)**, bringing cross-cultural teamwork into your studies without leaving home. CIVIS offers two dynamic ways to practise and improve your language skills: **Language Cafés** and the **Tandem Language Buddy Programme**. - **Language Cafés** create informal spaces—online or on campus—where you can chat with native speakers and fellow learners. No teachers, no pressure, just real conversations that build confidence and cultural awareness. - Prefer one-to-one practice? The **Tandem Programme** pairs you with a language buddy who speaks your target language, while you help them learn yours.
