And you can also follow individual modules. Our flexible formats connect you with students and professors across Europe, opening doors to cultural exchange and multilingual experiences.

Our micro-credentials certify specific skills ad competencies to boost your CV and career prospects, while MOOCs—fully online and open to everyone—let you learn at your own pace, with no entry requirements. On top of this, CIVIS is exploring new possibilities of internationalisation through Collaborative Online International Learning projects (COIL), so you can gain global perspectives and collaborate internationally without leaving home.

Want to practise languages? Join our Language Cafés or Tandem Buddy Programme for informal exchanges with native speakers. Wherever you are, CIVIS brings flexible, inclusive, and international learning opportunities right to your fingertips.

Micro-credentials

We all need to continuously enhance and refresh our skills and compentecies. As we seek to become relevant in the job market, micro-credentials provide a flexible way of following smaller, certified learning experiences.

Think of a micro-credential as a mini qualification that proves you’ve mastered a specific skill or area of knowledge. It’s flexible, portable, and designed for real-world needs—whether you’re a student, a professional, or a lifelong learner. Each micro-credential is assessed against clear standards, belongs to you, and can be shared or combined into bigger qualifications. They are useful for boosting your CV, advancing your career, or exploring new interests.

CIVIS has been exploring this educational format and a new wave of micro-credentials is on the way!

Micro-programme: Digital Transformations in Health and Wellbeing

This micro-programme provides undergraduate students advanced intellectual and practical tools to navigate the challenges connected to how a wide array of complex digital technologies mediate how health services are provided and how digital technologies can impact self monitoring of health and wellbeing.
