About CIVIS Connect
CIVIS Connect features eight monthly one-hour sessions in English focusing on key topics such as public engagement with research, challenge-led education, civic engagement, outreach, participatory research, and service-learning.
Each seminar is structured to foster enriching dialogue between academics and field practitioners. The sessions include presentations by academic speakers, field stakeholders, and open discussions with the audience, allowing for direct and interactive exchanges among all participants.
These seminars offer a unique opportunity to strengthen interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary collaboration in service of communities. Join us to stimulate innovative and impactful academic and civic engagement across Europe and beyond.

Organisation & Practical information
The CIVIS Connect series is organised by the CIVIS Open Labs, and co-coordinated by Paris Lodron University of Salzburg (PLUS), Stockholm University (SU), Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), University of Lausanne (UNIL), University of Glasgow (UofG), and Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (UT).
The seminar is free and open to anyone interested. The Open Labs target, more specifically, academics, stakeholders, members of the OpenLabs, and students who are engaged in projects related to the societal and community-oriented roles of universities.
