Linguistic cultures and communities in Europe: fieldwork, workshops and exhibition

Schedule

This CIVIS activity is organised into :

• 4 online seminars.
• 1 hybrid workshop per participating institution.
• 1 concluding festival with all participants in Rome, Italy, on 4-9 July 2022. This includes the preparation for the exhibition and the final discussion of the results.

The activities will be running from March to July 2022, but the overall engagement per student is approximately 2 weeks.

Requirements

This CIVIS activity is open to Bachelor's, Master and PhD students at one of the CIVIS member universities. 

All students in receipt of a mobility grant will travel to Rome, Italy on 4-9 July 2022. The organisers of the course are also willing to accept students participating from their home universities but will not be in receipt of a travel grant.  

A good level of English or Italian is required.

Application process

Interested students should send an e-mail with one single PDF file including a brief CV and a motivation letter. Please indicate in your motivation letter if you are interested in receiving the 3 ECTS that can be awarded to participating students.

Selected students will be notified on March 2022.

Assessment

The evaluation will be carried out by the academic staff at all the participating institutions. It will consist of an assessment of the projects submitted by the students.
