International Digital Creativity in Educational and Artistic Activity Training Summer school Digit-CrEAAT

Aix-Marseille Université is hosting an international Summer school for Masters and PhD students who are interested in exploring the impact of digital technologies on creation and art performance. The Summer School will take place from 28 June to 9 July 2021 in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, France and is opened to all students from CIVIS member Universities.  Registration deadline is 18 January 2021.

The Digit-CrEAAT Summer school questions the impact of digital tools on creation and training in arts and through arts (visual arts, music, dance, design, theatre, cinema, etc.) at the same time, promoting the meeting of professionals from the academic world with those of the artistic world.

The project is coordinated by the Laboratory of Educational Sciences ADEF (UR 4671 Aix-Marseille Université) and National Institute of Teaching and Education of Aix-Marseille (Inspé), in partnership with the federative structure SFERE-Provence (FED 4238) and InCIAM (Creativity and Innovation Institute of Aix-Marseille).

Digit-CrEAAT offers conferences, debates and workshops in French and in English at the Inspé of Aix-Marseille Université. It involves internationally recognized speakers and workshop leaders in the digital field, both in creation and art training.

Immersive experiences in different cultural places will also be organised such as at the Granet Museum, MuCEM, Lyric Art Festival, theatres, etc.

The Summer school is open to all CIVIS Masters and PhD students from all disciplines who particularly interested in the impact of digital technologies on art creation and art training.
