CIVIS’s four-part course on Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology
CIVIS’s four-part course on Geomorphology and Quaternary was held during the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA)’s International Geomorphology Week (1-5 March 2021).
This NKUA-led CIVIS virtual course was co-organised with the University of Bucharest (Romania) and the Stockholm University (Sweden), and one external university, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy) and covered a wide array of topics, including basic sea-level changes, geomorphological indicators, coastal cliffs, marine terraces, dating, stratigraphy, and natural hazards.
