Welcome Webinar for CIVIS exchange students: Madrid Welcome Webinar for CIVIS exchange students: Madrid ===================================================== Format Online Open to CIVIS students Date 16 sep 2021 - [About the event](#tab-about) **The CIVIS Ambassadors of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid are pleased to welcome the Erasmus students coming from the 9 member universities of the CIVIS Alliance through a first webinar to be held this Thursday 16 September at 10.00-11.00 CET!** **In this webinar, CIVIS ambassadors will :** - Introduce you to CIVIS and to the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (including a presentation of the academic calendar) - Share their past experience as Erasmus students within a CIVIS university - Give you an overview of the opportunities offered by the CIVIS Alliance - Inform you about current Covid-19 restrictions in Madrid CIVIS Ambassadors will also introduce you to the Spanish culture and share practical information about the **top places to visit** in and around Madrid, public transport, etc. For information, a second session is planned for 28 September 2021 at 17.00-18.00 CET. **For registration**, contact [civis.ambassadors@uam.es](mailto:civis.ambassadors@uam.es?subject=CIVIS%20Welcome%20webinar%3A%20Registration). --- Who are the CIVIS Ambassadors? ------------------------------ CIVIS Ambassadors are the first point of contact for their peers, both incoming CIVIS students and students of the home university interested in learning more about the alliance.
