On 9 September 2021, Aix-Marseille Université launched the first round of projects supported by its CIVIS Open Lab
CIVIS Open Labs
The CIVIS Open Labs aim to create a space where universities and citizens can discuss local needs and challenges and participate in the co-creation of projects based on an integrated approach. In short, the CIVIS Open Labs develop innovative and inclusive initiatives that have a positive impact on citizens.
A successful event
The event, which brought together about 60 people was also an opportunity to discuss the projects selected following a call launche in March 2021. This first call had sought projects which contribute to the development and implementation of proposals presented in response to the five CIVIS challenges:
- Climate, Environment, Energy
- Health
- Society, Culture, Heritage
- Digital and Technological Transformations
- Cities, Territories, Mobilities
Four projects were selected by the jury, with a focus on:
- the development of service-learning
- the appropriation of new tools for urban mobilisation
- collective intelligence for and by citizens
- digital transformation
