This report presents the cooperative actions developed between CIVIS member universities and their African partners through the WP5 seed-funding scheme. It reviews the supported projects, assesses their outcomes and highlights their contribution to strengthening long-term collaboration, education and research partnerships.
The Cooperative Actions of CIVIS and its African Partner Universities report reviews the pilot projects implemented between January and September 2022 through the CIVIS WP5 seed-funding initiative.
It presents collaborative activities across education, research and civic engagement, highlighting how the projects strengthened partnerships between CIVIS member universities and African institutions. Additionally, the report analyses the outcomes of the initiative, identifies lessons learned and outlines recommendations for supporting future cooperation and joint international projects.

This volume is a monograph documenting the virtual reconstruction projects of the Temple of Baalshamin, one of the most significant forms of tangible heritage belonging to the Syrian community, destroyed as a result of terrorist attacks.
