Applying a Service Learning approach in course design (2026) Applying a Service Learning approach in course design (2026) ============================================================== - Innovative Pedagogies - Service Learning - Course, module or learning opportunity - Academics This module is the result of collaboration between CIVIS Service Learning experts and the alliance's pedagogical innovation area. Taking the [CIVIS Service Learning Guide for Lecturers (2024)](https://civis.eu/storage/files/civis-service-learning-guidelines-for-lecturers-2024.pdf) as a reference, this asynchronous module was designed to give teachers a practical, step-by-step pathway for designing Service Learning sequences in their own context. The module is open to the entire CIVIS teaching community and has been designed for both people who want to discover this methodology and eductors who have an ongoing project and are looking for practical advice on how to develop it.
