Theatre of Migration Festival Theatre of Migration Festival =============================== Format Hybrid Open to All Date 12 → 14 Jul 2022 - [About the event](#tab-about) English version below Primo Festival Teatro delle Migrazioni -------------------------------------- ![](/storage/files/migration-theatre-festival.jpeg) Il 12, 13 e 14 luglio 2022 presso il Nuovo Teatro Ateneo si terrà il primo Festival "Teatro delle Migrazioni" con la partecipazione di **compagnie e associazioni di promozione sociale composte da attori, attrici e performer provenienti da Paesi extra-europei.** Nelle tre giornate, **dalle 17 alle 20, saranno messe in scena le perfomance - “Abitare il ritorno”, “Agaish”, “Rebus. Racconti brevi e straordinari”, “OIDA”, “PATER” - selezionate attraverso il bando lanciato dalla Sapienza** e dedicate al tema delle migrazioni, dalla sua primaria essenza traumatica fino alle opportunità offerte dall’incontro fra diverse culture, nell'interpretazione di chi ne ha fatto esperienza in prima persona. Gli spettacoli saranno presentati e accompagnati da alcuni momenti di riflessione critica con membri dell'intera Comunità Sapienza (personale docente, amministrativo, studentesse e studenti) e si svolgeranno presso la sala completamente rinnovata del **Nuovo Teatro Ateneo.** **Promosso nell'ambito delle iniziative di Terza Missione & Public Engagement - destinate quindi anche a un pubblico esterno e non accademico - per sensibilizzare l'attenzione sulle tematiche dell'immigrazione e dell'inclusione,** l'evento è stato finanziato dal progetto [CIVIS](https://civis.eu/en/about-civis/universities), l'alleanza che riunisce dieci atenei europei e promuove i **fondamentali valori del multiculturalismo e dell’integrazione**. ### Dettagli pratici Il Festival sarà poi diffuso in streaming in differita di un giorno su un canale dedicato e rimandato presso le [Università dell'alleanza CIVIS](https://civis.eu/en/about-civis/universities), dal 13 al 15 luglio sempre tra le 17 alle 20. Over the 3 days, from 17.00 to 20.00, 5 performances will be staged: - ‘Abitare il ritorno’ - ‘Agaish’ - ‘Rebus. Racconti brevi e straordinari’ - ‘OIDA’ - ‘PATER’ All the exhibitions will be dedicated to the theme of migration, from its traumatic essence to the opportunities offered by the encounter between different cultures, thanks to the interpretation of those who have personally experienced it. The performances will be presented and accompanied by some critical debates with members of the entire Sapienza community (academic and administrative staff, and students) and will take place in the completely renovated hall of ‘Nuovo Teatro Ateneo’. The Festival is promoted as part of the Third Mission & Public Engagement initiatives, in order to raise awareness of the issues of immigration and inclusion.
