On 23-27 August 2021, students from member universities of the CIVIS Alliance attended an intensive 5-day course with the aim to explore modernist trajectories across Europe and the Mediterranean.
The course exposed participating students to a variety of perspectives and helped them understand the role transnational connections and dialogues play in (re)shaping modern social and individual civic responsibility through critical readings, discussions, seminars and guest lectures.
The course, jointly organised by Aix-Marseille Université and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, brought together about 40 people who reunited at Aix-Marseille Université.
