The CIVIS Moodle is the alliance's common learning platform. Although some courses are taught on the universities' local platforms, the CIVIS Moodle includes a significant part of CIVIS' educational offering

The value of the CIVIS Moodle is twofold: on the one hand, it provides access to users from all member universities and, on the other, it facilitates the work of the alliance's professors and experts who collaborate in the creation of pedagogical and training materials. Here you will find two main types of resources: courses, dedicated to students in the alliance, and upskilling material aimed at teaching and administrative staff.

CIVIS has organised the platform to put teaching innovation at the forefront. It hosts:

  • CIVIS Courses: Courses and programmes open to admitted students
  • CIVIS Academy: Material for all CIVIS academics, designed to support the implementation of innovative teaching approaches.
  • The Innovative Teaching Corner: A section dedicated to the mapping and promotion of initiatives related to teaching innovation in CIVIS Universities.
