Standing outside the operating room, unsure of where to stand, what to say, how to exist in a space that feels both fascinating and intimidating at the same time. For Paula Medio, CIVIS Ambassador and 5th year medical student at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid that moment didn’t just stay a memory. It became a question: What is expected from us here?
