Attention all doctoral and postgraduate students! We are thrilled to announce the third edition of our Doctoral Webinar Programme focusing on the Challenges of Digital and Technological Transformations: Work and Organisational Life in an Uncertain Future.

Organised by CIVIS Hub 5 - Digital and Technological transformation, this annual webinar series, running from January 2025 to June 2025, will feature monthly 90-minute sessions held online. Each session will spotlight the pioneering research of CIVIS faculty members from various universities, examining how digital and technological transformations (DTT) are reshaping work, organisational life, and individual career trajectories.

  • 7 Feb. 2025: Ignacio Álvarez Peralta, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid - Technological change, labour market and income distribution.
  • 7 March 2025: Lucian Ciolan, University of Bucharest - Deep learning: From pedagogy to technology and back!
  • 11 April 2025: Riyaj Shaikh, Stockholm University - Hope, collaboration, and opacities in earning gig income.
  • 9 May 2025: Dimitris Katsianis, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens - AI technologies that impact digital transformation.
  • 13 June 2025: Roundtable discussion with all speakers.
