CIVIS3i, the CIVIS Programme for International, Interdisciplinary, Intersectoral Research and Training for Experienced Researchers, is an EU-funded project selected under the MSCA-H2020 COFUND for postdoctoral researchers. The CIVIS3i programme is rooted in our vision of a cross-border environment for research which can create a wide range of opportunities for international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral collaboration. CIVIS3i offers researchers a comprehensive training and networking programme, integrating interdisciplinarity and intersectorality in research, as well as skills for working in an international environment. CIVIS3i is determined to enhance the career perspectives of its fellows, by offering talented academics an attractive environment for research and by training a future generation of employable, mobile, first-class researchers.
CIVIS3i was developed within the CIVIS Alliance, and Aix-Marseille Université coordinates the programme. Four CIVIS member universities will recruit and host postdoctoral researchers, which the five other CIVIS universities will offer co-advisors, training and secondments. 24 non-academic partners will also support the project and offer training and secondments.
