Across the sessions, European Universities alliances will discuss their internationalisation strategies and approaches and present case studies about how alliances can forge successful international connections. Internationalisation is set as one of the key policy objectives for the European Universities alliances with the ambition to contribute to European attractiveness and competitiveness. This event aims to facilitate dialogue between Alliances, Non-European Higher Education Institutions and European, national and regional policymakers to explore which are the current state of play and the possible pathways of alliances’ internationalisation. First, participants will discuss ongoing and future collaborations with Ukraine partners in the context of the war and post-war reconstruction context. Then, the discussion will focus on cooperation between Alliances and African partners. CIVIS will be represented there by Professor Romita Iucu, from the University of Bucharest, as a speaker in the panel "**Internationalisation and European Universities alliances",** where Charlotte Kedslie, from the University of Glasgow will be rapporteur. Professor Mahomed Moolla, from the University of the Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, will represent CIVIS as a speaker in the panel "**Partnerships with Africa: how to unlock mutual benefits".** **Participation on site is by invitation only** Livestreming will be organised.
