The Doctoral School of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid organises a transversal seminar on interdisciplinary approaches in scientific research.
The event is organised into 6 independent sessions that will be held online every two weeks from 18 January to 29 March 2022.
Active involvement in research, particularly as part of a doctoral program, requires intense dedication to a specific field of knowledge. However, it also requires basic, open and interdisciplinary training on the research activity itself, on its approaches and methodologies, on its limitations and possibilities. This is precisely the aim of the transversal course "Interdisciplinary approaches to scientific research", offered to all students enrolled in doctoral programs at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which this year reaches its 4th edition.
Last year, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid opened some of the sessions to the CIVIS community. The positive response has led the university to organise a CIVIS seminar consisting of 6 online sessions open to the whole CIVIS community, not just doctoral students.
Practical details
The seminar will take place on Tuesdays, from 14:00-16:00 (Madrid time=CET=UTC/GMT+1), every two weeks, from 18 January 18 to 29 March 2022.
