 This resource presents the CIVIS Open Lab’s community-based approach to intergenerational learning. It showcases practices using storytelling, volunteering, sport, dance and music to reduce ageism and social isolation, strengthen civic bonds and foster meaningful connections across generations.

The [**CIVIS Open Lab on Intergenerational Learning Communities: Best Practices Showcase**](https://civis.eu/storage/files/civis-open-lab-intergenerational-communities-best-practices-showcase.pdf) presents a community-based model that brings different generations together through learning, creativity and civic participation.

The resource highlights intergenerational practices designed to challenge age stereotypes, encourage reciprocal learning and strengthen community relationships. Drawing on participatory research, community engagement and arts-based approaches, it also provides transferable practices and recommendations for educators, practitioners, policymakers and community organisations.
