The list of substances appearing on the drug market is constantly growing, with approximately one new psychoactive substance per week in Europe. One of the major challenges is not only to identify them, but also to make sure that medical professionals are aware of their existence in order to diagnose possible overdoses. The CIVIS online course is a joint project of researchers form **Marseille, Brussels and Rome** and is open for **academics, Master’s and PhD students form CIVIS Universities** who have basic knowledge of clinical toxicology and drugs abuse.
