The CIVIS3i team is pleased to invite the CIVIS Alliance community to the official kick-off meeting for CIVIS3i. This project will see 32 experienced researchers from around the world recruited for postdoctoral fellowships at four CIVIS universities: Aix-Marseille University, Université Libre de Bruxelles, Autonomous University of Madrid, Sapienza University of Rome. You can read more about CIVIS3i in the launch announcement.
The kick-off meeting will begin with a public session dedicated to the CIVIS research community hosted by the Rector of the Autonomous University of Madrid, currently holding the rotating presidency of CIVIS. An internal meeting will follow for the project partners (the four universities involved), the other CIVIS universities and the associated partners. This restricted session will give more detail on the management and activities of the 50-month project.

10 - 11 am CEST: Public event for the CIVIS Alliance research community
- Welcome and opening remarks by Rafael Garesse Alarcón, Rector of the Autonomous University of Madrid and holder of the rotating presidency of CIVIS
- Overview of CIVIS for researchers and update on RIS4CIVIS project
- Presentation of CIVIS3i COFUND program
- Overview of the four hosting universities by the Rectors
- To be confirmed: Representative of European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation
11 am - 1 pm CEST: Restricted session for project partners
- Presentation of CIVIS3i First Call
- Presentation of the Associated partners and presentation of the communication plan
- Presentation of CIVIS3i management
- Presentation of REA requirements and practical features
- Closing remarks
